Meet Robb

I’m a bike adventurer and progressive dreamer who fell in love with DC after moving here six years ago. My activism since 2014 and my previous ANC term upholds progressive DC values, including housing as a human right and safe streets. I aim to continue this work as your Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner (ANC) in 6A06.

I served as ANC 6C06 (NoMa) commissioner in 2019 and succeeded in securing deeply affordable housing, new parks, and bike lanes for the NoMa area. I moved to 6A06 when I bought my first home in DC and I am eager to support 6A06 in the same way.

Since 2017, I have also served on DC’s Multimodal Accessibility Advisory Council, advising the DC government on how to improve transportation and public spaces for people with disabilities.

Background

I grew up in Nebraska, which cultivated my love for the outdoors and how well cities like DC are integrated with nature. I studied Computer Science and Writing Studies at Rochester Institute of Technology, moved to DC for my first job, and fell in love with the city’s car-free possibilities, museums, and activism.
